Unwritten.

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Natasha Bedingfield-Unwritten.

I love this song. It was a song for an ads in which I can't recall what was it. Years later, I google for the lyrics and I somehow fall in love with it. It mentioned (between lines meaning) that everything that comes into our life are meant for us.

Be it good, be it bad, it is all meant for us, to give taste of bittersweet life.

Life is not always about sunshine, but it is also about how to dance under the rain, how to enjoy our views despite of the haze-- it is pretty much of enjoying and being grateful for whatever that we have. We listen to this a lot. And it is very hard to say everything is fine under stressful life events.

Do you know what? We should acknowledge our present feelings. It is okay to feel sad, broken, stress and everything. But then, go de-stress, find what makes you energize, and solutions to whatever that is knocking your life.

Nobody kicks a dead dog. As we are living humans, we will always be tested. We will be tested on our break point.  When we were 10, algebra sounded so hard. We almost cracked our heads to find the solutions. But when we were 18, 19, when Advanced Math was introduced, those basic algebra was such easy peasy.

When I cooked sambal for the first time, it was very challenging. To have the cili boh garing and cooked well--it was so tedious and leceh for me. But now cooking sambal is somewhat my specialty.

We will be challenge, always. And at one point of life, everything will be easy.

I have my mantra when I'm in challenging time.

"hard times shall passed, too."

As we had survived with crazy things last time, so we will survive too this time. It just need us to be more patient and believe that everything will go as usual. Above all, pray to Allah, may He makes ease of everything. I am not a pious person, but I do believe a sincere du'a every morning will make our day bearable. Challenging, still, but manageable and bearable.

and.... It is extremely fine to cry. As long as it is not weeping as our prophet disapprove that behavior. Don't go with stereotype of  "men should not cry" "Crying is only for weak."

God creates tear duct and tears with purpose.

okay?

Till next time.
